Mojito
The Mojito is one of the most popular and well-known cocktails in the world. With rum, sparkling water, mint, and sugar, it's a refreshing, aromatic drink that's perfect for hot summer days. The Mojito is often associated with Cuba, and with good reason - the refreshing cocktail is the country's national drink. However, the origin of the Mojito is unknown. One theory dates back to the 16th century when Francis Drake, the famous explorer set out for Havana, Cuba. As often happened on long sea voyages, the crew suffered from scurvy and dysentery. However, the crew knew that the locals in Cuba had the perfect remedy for the tropical disease. A small group set off and returned to the ship with a remedy consisting of rum extracted from sugar cane, lime, and mint. Although this mixture didn't have a known name at that time, this is the first description of the famous drink.
Fun fact:In the James Bond film "Die Another Day" from 2002, James Bond drank a mojito on the beach. This led to increased sales of Mojitos and kick-started the drink's popularity around the world!

Aperol Spritz
Aperol Spritz is a world-renowned cocktail that has become extremely popular in recent years. The popularity is most likely due to the cocktail's refreshing taste and attractive orange color.Â
One of the main ingredients in Aperol Spritz is, of course, Aperol liqueur. The liqueur is a combination of bitter and sweet oranges with hints of rhubarb and herbs. Aperol originated in Italy and was created in 1919 by two Italian brothers. The liqueur was invented after 7 years of experimentation and is characterized today by its familiar taste of citrus, sweetness, and subtle bitterness.
Last but not least, sparkling water is an essential part of the cocktail. It mixes well with the various ingredients and gives the Aperol Spritz its crisp bubbles. Tom Collins
Tom Collins is a classic long drink that consists of gin and sparkling water as the main ingredients. The story behind the name is said to be based on a joke. In the United States in 1874, there was a standing joke where you would ask an unwitting friend if they had seen Tom Collins. The prankster would then pretend that Tom Collins was nearby in the process of slandering the victim of the joke. This led the victim to search for Tom Collins so he could teach him a lesson. This, of course, was of much amusement to others in the party. Yes, the humor was perhaps a little different back then.
Nonetheless, the drink is believed to date back to the 1860s. The inventor of the drink is said to be John Collins, who was a bartender at a hotel in London. So it's a drink that's been around for some years.
